Screaming Dead

Formed in 1980 and with an attachment to horror Screaming Dead may resemble part of the Gothic early 80s covering but their music tells a different story. Songs such as “This is the end of the world” and “Valley of the Dead” were undoubtedly set in the Punk Rock traditions of that time, gaining a large following around their native Cheltenham before being picked up by No Future Records.

They eventually split in 1985 before a 2 year stint between 1997 & 1999, eventually reforming again in 2014 with today’s line up including Sam Bignall (Vocals), Pete Mazlag (Guitar), Mal Page (Bass) and Hugh Fairlie (Drums). They are still scaring and entertaining around the country and have just released another video to get the blood pumping called. “20th Century Vampire”
