Hooks, choruses, and infectious lyrics, The Briefs are influenced by the more pop side of Punk that never did the Toy Dolls, Buzzcocks or Undertones any harm. The Washington band have been together since 2000 and consistently released music throughout this time, starting with their debut album “Hit After Hit” that started major label interest in the band. Although the band has a humorous side they are not afraid to dip their toe into a political issue, as seen with “Orange Alert“ where they speak out against the Government at the time.
With a reputation for energetic performances wherever they play, a documentary followed the band to confirm “The Greatest Story Ever Told” of the Briefs. The Briefs are now being discovered by a new generation of Punks, who are discovering a band that may not be on the most popular radar.
