Sugus release their new album – 1995.

Sugus started back in 1995 in the Spanish capital of Madrid, and have been a very important band in the scene ever since. Releasing 5 full-length records upon the world, singing in both English and Spanish. The four dudes from Madrid share a love for many punk rock bands and combine this to create a unique sound. References include Screeching Weasel, Ramones, Marked Men and NOFX, but there’s way more to discover.

1995 cover
After more than five years of radio silence, Sugus are back with their fifth album, ‘1995’! Celebrating more than 20 years on the road, the new album continues where they left of off. 14 new songs, sang in English and Spanish again in which the four punks unleash all their philias and phobias. Lots of punk references will come to mind, but Sugus stay unique. Still fast, catchy and funny, but ‘1995’ also has a darker edge to it. Songs about anger, emotions, and friends that have gone too soon. On ‘1995’, Sugus let you enter their punk rock universe, with Madrid as its glooming center.
